Free Fraud and Cyber-awareness event at Buntingford Library on Tuesday 10 November.  Drop-in at any time to chat with Fraud, Cyber and Trading Standards specialists who will be on-hand to listen, advise and signpost. Throughout the day, there will also be scheduled talks which anyone can attend; no prior booking is required. These events are suitable for all ages and especially valuable to those who seek in-person fraud and cybercrime prevention advice, are less tech-savvy, or whom may be considered vulnerable.

Sporting Inspirations who run the Buntingford Youth Hub have been working with a small group of young people in Buntingford to plan an event focusing on mental health and Wellbeing. The Youth Festival will take place during half term at Seth Ward Community Centre on Monday 26 October 1.30pm-4.30pm

This summer MP Chris Hinchliff is gathering evidence from communities across the constituency to build a comprehensive and up-to-date picture of the most significant road safety issues facing our towns and villages. The report will be presented to Hertfordshire County Council, helping identify the areas where intervention is most urgently needed. The more responses received, the stronger the case we can make for meaningful action.

Issues such as dangerous junctions, speeding traffic, poor road conditions and other longstanding issues that impact the safety and quality of life in towns and villages have persisted for years yet many, with sufficient commitment and initiative, could be resolved or mitigated relatively quickly.
